The Canon Xario 100 Platinum is a compact and feature rich system that is positioned in the economy grade, but flexibly upgradable to the higher grade Xario 200 Platinum. Based on widely selectable options and transducers, the Canon Xario 100 Platinum is designed to support a full range of applications and can be used as a general-purpose system or a specialized system, depending on the installed software. The Canon Xario 100 Platinum with Canon’s well-known extensive selection of 28 transducers supports a wide range of clinical applications including fetal, abdominal, intra-operative(abdominal), laparoscopic, pediatric, small organs, neonatal cephalic, adult cephalic, trans-rectal, trans-vaginal, musculo-skeletal (conventional), musculo-skeletal (superficial), cardiac adult, cardiac pediatric, trans-esoph(cardiac) and peripheral vessel.

The Canon Xario 100 Platinum shares its platform with the Canon Xario 200 Platform. Both systems have the basic configuration as standard, but there are a number of selectable options that can extend the use of the system for many clinical applications. The standard package of the Canon Xario 100 Platinum are as follows: 19-inch LCD monitor, LCD touch screen, DVD/CD drive, Wide View, ApliPureTM, and B/W printer mounting brackets (side-access type).

The Canon Aplio 400 Platinum has removed three of the upgradable options, Smart 3D, Speckle Reduction and Tissue Specific Optimization, from the Canon Aplio 500 Platinum. The Canon Aplio Platinum series was the top line products series before Canon launched the new Aplio i series in 2016. Apart from all the selectable options, the Canon Aplio Platinum series supports a total of 47 transducers including sector, convex, 4D volume, linear, micro convex, TEE, and Pencil transducers. Among those 47 transducers, the Canon Aplio Platinum series supports about 10 different intra-operative and biopsy enhancement transducers that improve clinical productivity in interventional Radiology.

The Canon Aplio XG is the high end cardiac ultrasound machine made by Canon and is especially suited for clinical work and research. The Aplio XG improves on earlier models such as the Aplio 80.

The SonoScape E1 is categorized as an economy portable ultrasound system that is designed for abdominal, cardiac, gynecology, musculoskeletal, obstetrical, pediatric, small parts, cephalic, urology, veterinary, and vascular exams. More advanced hardware and software platforms has been developed from the older generation, SonoScape A6; the SonoScape E1 integrated a number of advanced imaging technologies such as the full digital broad band width beam former, wide band dynamic range, and multi-beam parallel processing. Although it is targeting a B/W low-cost market, it supports PW Doppler, Auto IMT, Spatial Compounding, Auto Image Optimization, Stand-by Mode, Enhanced Needle Visualization, Panoramic imaging with 2 standard probe ports and 15.6″ LED monitor. The SonoScape E1 and E2 share a similar system architecture, however, the SonoScape E2 incorporates more options enable to better cover clinical applications and workflow.

The SonoScape E2 is categorized as an economy portable Color Doppler ultrasound system that is designed for abdominal, cardiac, gynecology, musculoskeletal, obstetrical, pediatric, small parts, cephalic, urology, veterinary, and vascular exams. More advanced hardware and software platforms has been developed from the older generation model, the SonoScape S2. The SonoScape E2 integrated a number of advanced imaging technologies such as the full digital broad band width beam former, wide band dynamic range and multi-beam parallel processing.
