The Philips HD9 is a good economy OB/GYN, general imaging machine with good 4D. The Philips HD9 is mechanically identical to the Medison SonoAce X8 and differs only in user interface and exterior appearance. Though no longer in production the HD9 has been replaced by the ClearVue 650.

The GE Voluson S6 is a midrange 4D OB/GYN ultrasound machine that shares some transducers with the Voluson-i portable. It is the replacement for the Voluson 730 pro and is much smaller and lighter than any other Voluson console. This together with a battery allow it to easily be wheeled from room to room without rebooting. The Voluson S6 is a lower priced version of the Voluson S8 with less features and probes, but the two look nearly identical. On average, a refurbished GE Voluson S6 costs between $15,000 and $40,000, depending on the transducers included as well as the age, condition, and history of use of the system but our systems start at $15,000.
