GE Vivid E9 XDClear

Refurbished

Call to configure, special pricing available 317-759-9210

Expanding on the success of the bestselling GE Vivid 7 Dimension ultrasound, the GE Vivid E9 began a new era of advanced 4D cardiovascular imaging with a new concentration on ergonomics and efficiency.

The Vivid E9 ultrasound machine with XDClear features single crystal probe technology, which is one of the more profound ultrasound imaging technologies in recent years. Single crystal probes greatly improve image quality and penetration, with more uniform clarity throughout the image.

The GE Vivid E9 replaced the GE Vivid 7 ultrasound and was succeeded by the GE Vivid E90 and GE Vivid E95 cardiovascular ultrasound machines.

With a longstanding tradition of excellent imaging, the Vivid series of ultrasounds continues to impress.

Price starting at $19,500

In addition to the XMatrix single-crystal probe technology, the Vivid E9 added improved processing power, better ergonomics, and improved workflow.

With 4D cardiac imaging becoming more prevalent, the E9’s new architecture allows for higher frame rates and better image quality for its 4D cardiology.  The refurbished Vivid E9 expands upon its 4D technology with the following technologies:

  • 4D Auto LVQ: a mesh-based surface-tracking model that delivers more reproducible results
  • 4D LV Mass adds an epicardial border to the mesh-based surface-tracking model
  • 4D Strain calculates regional strain values for enhanced visual tracking assessment
  • 4D Views with “one-touch” options to view images such as 4-chamber, 2-chamber, APLAX, mitral valve, septum and aortic valve

The GE Vivid E9 built on an industry leading platform, well renowned and respected in the cardiovascular imaging community. The improved processing architecture and ergonomics were welcome upgrades as the older platform became… well… old and dated.

We have always been impressed with GE’s innovation and determination to release quality cardiac machines with the Vivid machine. Additionally, the prices has always been more than competitive. As a refurbished cardiovascular ultrasound machine, we find the Vivid E9 to be a tremendous bargain and a recommended ultrasound machine.

Obviously newer ultrasound machines provide faster processors and newer technologies, however, for the price of the Vivid E9, it’s hard to beat the value for the performance.

The Vivid e9 4D imaging allows real-time acquisition of a volume image, allowing clinicians to obtain multiple image planes simultaneously, thereby decreasing scan time for echo and stress echo exams.

4D cardiac imaging on the Vivid e9 allows you to acquire parasternal bi-plane and apical tri-plane views in a volume acquisition, eliminating the need to scan from multiple angles and allowing the technician to find the best window and use it for all image acquisition. It is also a time-saver for stress echo exams.

Yes, it’s one of the great benefits because you can acquire all stress echo views from two imaging windows.

Multiplane and MultiDimension imaging uses the 4D volume acquisition to show all three planes of the heart from one acquisition.

CrossXBeam on the GE Vivid e9 is also known as compound imaging. It allows the ultrasound transducer to see from multiple lines of site at different angles, as opposed to the standard line-of-site that’s perpendicular to the transducer lens.

Speckle Reduction Imaging on the Vivid e9 ultrasound machine uses a special software algorithm to identify body tissue and eliminate artifact. The result provides a clearer image with reduced artifact.

Yes, the Vivid e9 has Triplex imaging for Spectral, Color, and 2D simultaneous imaging.

Q-Analysis is short for Quantitative Analysis. It includes quantitative assessment tools for LV (Left Ventricular) function. It includes assessment tools such as Tissue Velocity Imaging, Tissue Tracking, Tissue Synchronization Imaging, Strain, Strain Rate Imaging, and 2D Strain.

Tissue Tracking displays Tissue Velocity over time and displays a color band that represents motion or distance during systole, resulting in a display of systolic longitudinal displacement.

TSI is a parametric imaging tool based on Tissue Velocity Imaging that provides additional image enhancement for assessing delayed cardiac wall motion.
