The GE Logiq S8 is a high-end multi-purpose ultrasound machine designed for abdominal, vascular, breast, cardiac, small parts, 4D, obstetrics, gynecology, neonatal, pediatrics, urology and transcranial applications. The Logiq S8 is extremely light and compact and looks visually very similar to the Voluson S8, Voluson S6 and Logiq S7. The Logiq S8 is the replacement to the popular Logiq 7.

The Philips Affiniti 70 is a high-end shared-service ultrasound machine that was developed in 2014 based on the premium EPIQ 7. The Affiniti 70 looks nearly identical to the EPIQ 7 and EPIQ 5 and offers many of the same features, including single crystal PureWave transducers. The Philips Affiniti 70 also has many of the same technologies as the EPIQ series ultrasounds, including the QLAB onboard quantification set and ShareWave elastography. A unique feature of the Affiniti 70 is that it offers ShearWave. As a shared service ultrasound machine, the Affiniti 70 excels at cardiology as well as women’s health, vascular and radiology ultrasound applications. Philips ultrasounds are most well known for their cardiac imaging superiority, but the Philips Affiniti 70 also features high image quality for its price level. The Philips Affiniti 50, is a midrange shared service ultrasound machine that was developed in 2014 from the premium Epiq 7. The Affiniti 50 looks nearly identical to the more expensive Affiniti 70 and offers many of the same features. The Philips HD15 is a high-end ultrasound machine for shared service applications with the amazing Purewave single crystal probes. Reliable and high performance for nearly a decade the HD15 is still sought after even after production ended in 2015.
The SonoScape E1 is categorized as an economy portable ultrasound system that is designed for abdominal, cardiac, gynecology, musculoskeletal, obstetrical, pediatric, small parts, cephalic, urology, veterinary, and vascular exams. More advanced hardware and software platforms has been developed from the older generation, SonoScape A6; the SonoScape E1 integrated a number of advanced imaging technologies such as the full digital broad band width beam former, wide band dynamic range, and multi-beam parallel processing. Although it is targeting a B/W low-cost market, it supports PW Doppler, Auto IMT, Spatial Compounding, Auto Image Optimization, Stand-by Mode, Enhanced Needle Visualization, Panoramic imaging with 2 standard probe ports and 15.6″ LED monitor. The SonoScape E1 and E2 share a similar system architecture, however, the SonoScape E2 incorporates more options enable to better cover clinical applications and workflow.
The Mindray M9 is the top-of-the-line portable ultrasound machine from Mindray and builds on the previous M7 and M5 portables. It is based on Mindary’s new generation platform and single crystal probes which allows for better penetration and higher resolution. The M9 is targeted at the portable high-end cardiac market with full cardiac features, transducers (including TEE), and full measurement packages. It can be used about 90 minutes with the built-in battery and with a trolley mounted battery pack it lasts over 3.5 hours.

The Supersonic Aixplorer is the premier Elastography system available in Ultrasound today. Though it was not the first brand to offer Elastography, the major brands are trying to catch up with it’s proprietary ShearWave technology.
