The Logiq P9 is considered a high-end, upgraded version of the P5, although these systems are not molded from the same body. The P9 is more powerful and has newer hardware, operating system, beamformers, easier to use and transport, and is more advanced in nearly every fashion. This ultrasound machine is advertised as a Point-of-Care (or bedside) ultrasound machine but is a good choice for offices and hospitals in need of a small-footprint at a economical price.

The Logiq P series ultrasound machines are designed for mobility and are considered low- to mid-range console ultrasound machines. These are powerful, however, and would compete with most mid-high range portable ultrasound machines.

Yes, this is a very versatile shared-service ultrasound machine that can even do stress echo studies for full echocardiograms.

The My Trainer software on the Logiq P9 is on-board training with video walk-throughs for common functionality and knobology on the Logiq P9 cart-based ultrasound machine.

CrossXBeam on the GE Logiq P9 is also known as compound imaging. It allows the ultrasound transducer to see from multiple lines of site at different angles, as opposed to the standard line-of-site that’s perpendicular to the transducer lens.

SRI HD on the refurbished Logiq P9 portable ultrasound machine uses a special software algorithm to identify body tissue and eliminate artifact. The “HD” is added to SRI to note that it’s a newer version of the Speckle Reduction technology with improved image quality. The result provides a clearer image with reduced artifact.

The Scan Assitant on GE Ultrasound machines reduces scan time by automatically stepping the user through the steps of an exam. In doing so, it has shown to eliminate up to 78% of keystrokes. General Electric’s Scan Assistant initiates and completes required measurements, automatically steers color Doppler, sets up imaging controls and modes, inserts comments, and automatically re-orders images based on the user’s preference.

Yes, the GE Logiq P9 has wired and wireless connectivity. However, you’ll need to let your Probo Medical representative know in advance that you’ll need DICOM if you want to send your images to a PACS system or radiologist for review.

Yes, the P9 has a 4D volumetric transducer available for 4D “babyface” obstetric imaging.
