The Canon Xario 100 Platinum is a compact and feature rich system that is positioned in the economy grade, but flexibly upgradable to the higher grade Xario 200 Platinum. Based on widely selectable options and transducers, the Canon Xario 100 Platinum is designed to support a full range of applications and can be used as a general-purpose system or a specialized system, depending on the installed software. The Canon Xario 100 Platinum with Canon’s well-known extensive selection of 28 transducers supports a wide range of clinical applications including fetal, abdominal, intra-operative(abdominal), laparoscopic, pediatric, small organs, neonatal cephalic, adult cephalic, trans-rectal, trans-vaginal, musculo-skeletal (conventional), musculo-skeletal (superficial), cardiac adult, cardiac pediatric, trans-esoph(cardiac) and peripheral vessel.
The Canon Xario 100 Platinum shares its platform with the Canon Xario 200 Platform. Both systems have the basic configuration as standard, but there are a number of selectable options that can extend the use of the system for many clinical applications. The standard package of the Canon Xario 100 Platinum are as follows: 19-inch LCD monitor, LCD touch screen, DVD/CD drive, Wide View, ApliPureTM, and B/W printer mounting brackets (side-access type).
The Canon Xario 200 and 100 Platinum originally developed from the Canon Xario XG, launched in 2007. With a couple of revisions and technology migration from Aplio series and also integrated full-digital transmission and reception processing technology, the Canon Xario 200 and 100 Platinum became more stable and reliable. The user selectable options of the Canon Xario 200 are as follows: CW, 4D, Gel warmer, MD-TEE hanger, Wireless LAN, Stress Echo, CHI(Contrast Harmonic Imaging), Panoramic View, Differential THI, Precision Plus, Dynamic FlowTM, Superb Micro Vascular Imaging, Protocol Assistant, Elastography, Elastography-FLR, FLEX-M, Precision Imaging, ApliPure plus, Tissue Specific Optimization, Auto NT, Smart 3D, and Luminance.
Apart from those all selectable options, the Canon Aplio 100 Platinum supports total 28 transducers (Some transducers required to integrate upgrade optional kits) including sector, convex, 4D volume, linear, micro convex, TEE, and Pencil transducers. Among those 28 transducers, the Canon Xario Platinum series support about 5 different intra-operative and biopsy enhancement transducers that can improve clinical productivity in interventional Radiology, and also are available motor-driven volume transducers for in-depth 3/4D Obstetrics and Gynecology applications.
The GE Logiq P5 premium is an economical shared service ultrasound machine that is unique in its price range by offering deep support for all applications from Cardiac to Pediatric, from 4D Obstetrics to Surgical or Elastography with an astounding 29 compatible transducers spread across every possible application. If it can be done with ultrasound, the Logiq P5 can do it.
The Logiq P5 premium replaced the older Logiq 5 in 2006 and is currently in production as a BT11 revision. GE sells more of the Logiq P5 premium than any other model in production around the world and the fact that the Logiq P5 has been in production for a decade is proof of its reliability and popularity. The GE Logiq P5 is compact and has many premium features and ergonomic details that are typically only available on midrange units costing more. Because the Logiq P5 premium has been in production so long and has been so popular there are large quantities of replacement parts and transducers available on the market. This will make maintenance and support inexpensive and easily available for many years to come, far beyond all other economy priced ultrasound machines.
The GE Logiq P5 price is between $10,000 and $30,000 dollars depending upon the condition, options, and the number and types of probes included. The similar GE Logiq P6 fits in the midrange price point and is visually very similar to the P5 but offers even more probe options and features.
